Duane Lawrence is a published children’s book author based in Vancouver, Canada. He is a retired high school French teacher. He taught English in central Japan for nine years and was a high school French teacher in London, England for one year as well. Besides English, Duane also speaks French and Japanese.
He enjoys regular walks in beautiful Stanley Park. It was during one leisurely stroll in the park that Duane decided to write about the animals that live there, and so his journey as an author began.
